Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
The agreement
These terms are between you and Mayvand Khaliq, doing business as BuckLoad, based in Sacramento, California ("we", "us"), the operator of BuckLoad. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you accept them for that business.
The service
The service helps you record sales, expenses, cash counts and, for personal budgets, spending, income, bills and savings, and calculates totals, estimated fees, taxes and profit from what you enter. Reminders are a convenience: an email can be late or not arrive, so don't rely on them alone for payments that matter. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Tax rates, fee rates and deadlines shown are estimates or settings you control; check them with your tax preparer and the tax agencies before you file or pay.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and be at least 18.
- Keep your password secret. You're responsible for what happens under your login and in your company, including what your employees do.
- Company owners decide who joins their company and what they can see.
Your data
Your business records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. You can download a backup at any time. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own records as the law requires.
Acceptable use
Don't break the law with the service, try to access other customers' data, interfere with the service, or use it to store content you have no right to store.
Online payments
If you connect a Stripe account so customers can pay your invoices online, Stripe processes those payments under Stripe's own terms, which you agree to when you set up your Stripe account. The money goes into your Stripe account, not to us, and Stripe's fees are charged by Stripe. BuckLoad doesn't take a cut. Refunds, chargebacks, payouts and anything else about the money itself are handled in your Stripe account. BuckLoad records what Stripe tells it (for example, that an invoice was paid and the fee) and you should check it against your Stripe account.
If you connect a Square account, BuckLoad reads your Square payments, orders and refunds and adds them to your books. Square's own terms cover your Square account and its payments. BuckLoad copies what Square reports, so check it against your Square account, especially fees and refunds.
Price
BuckLoad is free to use right now. If we ever add paid plans, we'll post the prices on our website and tell account owners at least 30 days before anything changes. You'll never be charged unless you choose a paid plan and enter payment details yourself, and you'll always be able to download your data.
Ending your account
You can delete your company, your budget or your whole account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll try to give you a chance to download your data first.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own backups.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, tax penalties or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we'll post the new date and tell owners about important changes. These terms are governed by California law, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. Questions: support@buckload.com.
