Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

The agreement

These terms are between you and Mayvand Khaliq, doing business as BuckLoad, based in Sacramento, California ("we", "us"), the operator of BuckLoad. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you accept them for that business.

The service

The service helps you record sales, expenses and cash counts and calculates totals, estimated fees, taxes and profit from what you enter. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Tax rates, fee rates and deadlines shown are estimates or settings you control; check them with your tax preparer and the tax agencies before you file or pay.

Your account

Your data

Your business records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. You can download a backup at any time. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own records as the law requires.

Acceptable use

Don't break the law with the service, try to access other customers' data, interfere with the service, or use it to store content you have no right to store.

Trial, plans and payment

New companies get a free trial of 30 days. When the trial ends, your books become read-only until you choose a paid plan. Paid plans haven't launched yet. Before they do, we'll post prices, billing periods and refund terms on our website and tell company owners at least 30 days ahead. You'll never be charged unless you choose a plan and enter payment details yourself. After that, we may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before a change takes effect.

Ending your account

You can delete your company at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or go unpaid, and we'll try to give you a chance to download your data first.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own backups.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, tax penalties or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll post the new date and tell owners about important changes. These terms are governed by California law, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California. Questions: support@buckload.com.
