BuckLoad is bookkeeping for small businesses and a budget for your own money. We build it for people who'd rather run their shop, or their week, than learn accounting.
Why we built it
Ask a small business owner how much they made last month and you'll often get the amount that came in. What they kept is harder: take out the sales tax that belongs to the state, the card fees, what the goods cost, and the rent. Plenty of accounting software can tell you, but it usually expects you to speak in debits and credits first.
BuckLoad works it out as you go. Every sale shows what you kept. Every bill shows up before it's due. The same idea runs the personal side: what's left this month, in one number.
What we care about
- Plain words. "Money in" and "what you kept", not "accounts receivable" and "net income". If a screen needs a manual, we rewrite the screen.
- Your phone and your computer. It works in any browser, and you can add it to your home screen.
- Your data is yours. Download everything you've entered at any time, and delete your account whenever you like. We don't sell your information or use it for ads.
- Honest about what it isn't. BuckLoad doesn't do payroll, file your taxes or connect to your bank. When it matters, we'll tell you to ask your tax preparer.
Is it free? How?
Yes, every feature, with no card and no trial. We're keeping it free while we grow and learn what people need. If prices ever change, you'll get an email at least 30 days ahead, and you can download everything before then.
