About these rates
Standard US rates for US cards, as of October 2026. Your own statement has the final word.
Where do the rates come from?
From each company's published pricing: Stripe, PayPal, Venmo business profiles and Square (the free plan). They change from time to time; check your processor's pricing page if a number looks off.
What isn't included?
Cards from other countries usually cost 1.5% more, and converting currency costs more again. Instant transfers to your bank, chargebacks, monthly plans and custom rates for high volume aren't counted. Pick Another rate to use your own numbers.
Can I add a surcharge to cover the fee?
It depends on where you are. Some states limit or ban card surcharges, and the card networks have their own rules for posting and capping them. Offering a discount for cash is generally allowed. Check your state's rules and your processor before adding a fee.
Can BuckLoad do this for every sale?
Yes. Add each way you get paid with its fee in Settings, and every sale shows the fee and what you kept, along with the sales tax and your cost. Reports show your fees by payment method for any month or year. See how it works.
